Welcome to the Mänttä Food Festival, an annual culinary celebration organized by Restaurant Gösta and Serlachius! This unique event marries art and gastronomy in a delightful fusion within an unforgettable museum environment set in the peaceful Finnish lakeland.
Five art works, five top chefs, five delicious dishes
Each year, five top chefs create five unforgettable dishes full of Nordic flavours, each inspired by the evening's theme and paired with the finest beverages. Every dish draws its inspiration from the art in the Serlachius Fine Arts Collection, making this festival a must-attend for all art and food lovers.
To enhance the holistic experience, participants have an opportunity to enjoy a relaxing sauna session in the award-winning Serlachius Art Sauna before the dinner.
This culinary adventure is sold out every year. Don't miss your chance to meet Finland's top chefs and discover their inspirations.
The evening is hosted by the TV star Sean Ricks.
Please note the event is organized in Finnish but the dinner menu and other essential information will also be available in English, when informed in advance.

At the 2026 Mänttä Food Festival, top chefs from across Finland re‑envision Moments by the Water, each dish drawing inspiration from carefully selected pieces of the Serlachius art collection. Their interpretations blend creativity and craftsmanship, offering guests a series of flavours that linger long after the evening ends.

Begin your evening in the elegant ambience Serlachius Art Sauna. Enjoy small, artfully crafted bites by the fireplace in the lounge and savour a drink from the bar. Let the gentle heat of the sauna prepare you for a night dedicated to flavour, art and shared delight.

Time: Saturday 5 September 2026 from 18.00 onwards. Also possibility for sauna bathing at Serlachius Art Sauna at 14.00 or at 16.00.
Place: Serlachius, Restaurant Gösta, Joenniementie 47, 35800 Mänttä
Price: 250 €, including a 5-course dinner menu, drink package, the guidance introducing the art works, and the afternoon's Art Sauna experience with coctail bites. The tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable; all purchases are final.
Serlachius Art Sauna experience for the ticket holders
The ticket holders of the event have the possibility to enjoy sauna bathing at the awarded Serlachius Art Sauna before the dinner. The sauna sessions are organized at 14.00 and at 16.00.
For sauna bathing, select the preferred timeslot from the "Product Options". Otherwise leave open.
Any additional information concerning the sauna bathing can be given in the "Add a Note for Merchant" section of the order.
We provide you the towels and sauna bench covers but take your own swimsuit with you! The sauna guests get to enjoy the warm hot tub on the deck area and also have a dip in the Lake Melajärvi from the jetty. Beverages are sold on site (card payment only).
